There are very few names in international advertising more revered than Alexandre Gama. He created one of the most successful advertising agencies in Brazil nearly two decades ago and he’s showing no signs of slowing down. In 2015, through his agency, Neogama, he won the Golden Lion at Cannes Film Festival for his Rock Giant Campaign that focused on Brazil for Johnnie Walker. His remarkable career spans across years, nations, and cultural lines. His career has evolved through many different roles in communications and advertising. Gama started out as a copywriter for Ogilvy & Mather back in 1982, and he has grown to be such an influencer in the field that in 2012 he became a board member for the Brazilian Association of Advertising Agencies (ABAP). His role as a board member involves providing support and a positive platform for the continuous growth and success of the communications industry in Brazil.
