Back to the Earth I live, they all follow........ * Rusted Root*

My original plan was to keep this skirt,, sigh, but I need to pay the bills,,, someday Ill keep something that  I make,,lol.. This skirt is GORGEOUS,, and I envy the mama that'll be strutting around wearing it!!! The base of the skirt is a Beautiful Hemp/Organic cotton in an Oatmeal color( dyed by ang at alteredstatement.com ). I appliqued a GIGANTIC TREE with the words "Back to The Earth".  The trunk of the tree and the strip around the bottom are a Brazil Nut (deep brown) and the leaves of the Tree and the ruffle around are a a Hemp fabric dyed a low immersion dye in gorgeous warm earth tones(dyed by JenniferJoycreative.com ). There is a pocket on this beauty , the pocket closes with a pretty wooden button. The skirt ties in the back. This skirt was cut A LINE to elminate some bunch and still have lots of beautiful SPIN at the bottom!!!

PLease note that ONCE again, I ran out of thread in the middle of the applique so there were 2 different brown threads used,, it is barely noticeable.. and actually gives the tree some dimension****  I love EVERYTHING about this skirt!! The colors are Perfect for Fall too!!
